It is also a direct-to-consumer retailer of horse-related electronic and print media, including but not limited to DVDs, books, software, games, art and other equestrian lifestyle consumer products. The Company's innovative electronic delivery system utilizes Internet-based technologies blended with traditional retail-to-consumer distribution methodologies.
The Company's primary merchandising mechanism is the Nicker Network ("Nicker") (www.NickerNetwork.com). Nicker is the first Internet-based, on-demand, multi-channel television network targeted to a worldwide equestrian audience. Nicker provides a large selection of individual, named channels, each dedicated to a different equestrian theme or subject. Programs on these channels are available to the consumer through a combination of on-demand streaming and download technologies together with strategies which target end-users for DVD sales of individual programs. Initial channels will be dedicated to news, shows and events, health and veterinary medicine, entertainment-oriented documentaries and magazine programs, children and youth, and an assortment of educational channels specific to riding disciplines and individual trainers and clinicians. |
